Many of you may know, I am now a mom. I had twins in 2023. I was changed forever; however, still me. My identity expanded enough to hold all of these things: caregiver, founder, daughter, wife, mother, Margaux and Phillip. Yes, the area of my brain associated with self-identity changed to include my two children.
In an experience not dissimilar from being a caregiver, this meant I now did not just need to advocate for myself, but for myself. I wrote the below post in July of 2024. Reading it now, it is clearly the impetus for my work with Authority Magazine and How I Ally.
